This is a brand-new solid brass 1/16 thick or. 063 derby cover made by muddyshoes in the USA that will fit all the twin cam motor models from the beginning to the present. The Iron Cross design is acid etched and permanent. Unlike chrome or gold plate, brass will not flake or bubble you can polish it carefree knowing that it will only get brighter and never wear out, or let it develop its characteristic patina. This derby style is etched double deep and left with a flat or satin type finish; and best left to age naturally. It can be harmed by abrasives or easily polished out.
